Wade Glathar has been involved in Utah charter school leadership for 18 years and has worked professionally in the field of education for the past 26 years. He successfully oversaw the launch and start-up of three charter schools and currently serves as Lead Director of a charter school system that serves over 2,900 students along the Wasatch Front. Prior to his work with charter schools, Mr. Glathar worked in private and district schools, teaching a wide range of age groups and classes from Advanced Placement to 1st grade. He also spent time teaching in the British school system and operating an educational exchange program for high school students. In addition, he has instructed at the university level as an adjunct professor, served as a mentor to school administrators through the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools, and served as a member of the Utah State Board of Education's UPIPS Team in order to support their of monitoring school compliance statewide in the area of Special Education.He earned a B.A. degree in Secondary Education and a M.A. degree in Teaching & Learning from Brigham Young University. He holds a current Utah Educator License as well as a current Utah Administrator License.
