Counselor’s Corner
Our counselors offer support for things like graduation plans, selecting, adding, and dropping classes and credit recovery. They also assist with mental health concerns, create individualized coursework schedules for students and offer college prep resources — including annual college tours throughout the state of Utah and teacher-led ACT “bootcamps.”
IEP/504 Testing and Support
Mountain Heights Academy accepts 504/IEP (Individualized Education Program) students and provides support if accommodations and/or modifications are needed.
Friendship and Belonging
Students can find support and connection through student clubs, our many field trips and social events and support groups like Anxiety Skillbuilding, Girl Talk and more.
Student Recognition Program
Mountain Heights Academy teachers love to recognize their students' achievements. Teachers and staff recognize positive behaviors and successes by awarding Trailblazer points, which can be redeemed for gift cards in the school’s online Trailblazer Shop. Additionally, teachers nominate students to be featured in a newsletter and in the online classroom as the “Trailblazer of the Week.”
