Steve Davis has been in the field of education for the past 34 years. He has had the privilege of being a teacher, coach, mentor, school and district administrator in both the traditional and charter schools. He spent most of his educational career in the Davis School District, where he taught at Davis High and was an administrator at Kaysville Jr., NLJH, WPJH, Fairfield Jr. and Syracuse High. He is a lifelong learner and is proud to share that he has earned credits from every major college/university in the state of Utah ….except UVU. He is working on that. For the past 24 years, Mr. Davis has been in administration or district support in Elementary, Junior High and High school. During the four years that he worked with a charter school management company, he was an educational consultant or “District supervisor” for 16 charter schools in Utah. Most recently, he was the principal of NUAMES North High school in Ogden where he also served as the Assessment Director for NUAMES Early College High School. Mr. Davis loves to look at data and find creative ways to build up schools and students. Mr. Davis loves spending time with family, playing golf, and has just started road cycling as a hobby. He is so excited to continue his journey here at Mountain Heights Academy as the Assistant Director!
