Ann Meeks started playing school (she was always the teacher) with her neighborhood friends when she was five years old and has been teaching in some capacity ever since. In 1990, she started teaching high school English and designing curriculum. Throughout her private, public, and charter school education career, she has been dedicated to providing students with a world-class, customized education.  She joined Mountain Heights Academy six years ago, teaching English, writing multiple courses, and working with teachers as an administrator. Mrs. Meeks earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Journalism. She continued her education, earning a Master of Arts in Education, emphasizing standardized testing, especially the ACT. She taught classes for students in ACT preparation for 17 years. In her spare time, she loves hiking, traveling with her husband, reading, and playing with her two adorable grandsons.
